As part of the strategic plan of the EPA to disseminate environmental information to the public, the department is undertaking its awareness campaign to and within schools across Monrovia and its environs. Ten (10) schools will participate in the awareness hour, geared towards sharing basic environmental knowledge with students. It is envisaged that each participating school will be represented by two students and a teacher; most importantly a science teacher, who will continue the process with the students upon return to their respective institutions. It is hoped, that these students will pass information gathered from the awareness hour to other colleagues after the program.
