There are close links between the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs, adaptation in Climate Action and Gender. The project National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) Project supports the Government of Liberia to advance its National Adaptation Plans processes in climate sensitive sectors. The current adaptation programme is a great opportunity to identify adaptation needs both for women and men and propose implementing strategies and programs to address those needs in an equitable manner with the prime objective of integrating climate change adaptation at all levels of development activities. Climate change is considered as one of the most urgent and critical issues
of our time and a cross-cutting development issue that affects every aspect of sustainable development and the entire 2030 Agenda.
