United Nations Economic Commission for Africa and Environmental Protection Agency of Liberia human
and institutional capacity project is aimed at assisting the NDC’s revision of Liberia by setting-
up targets/indicators as well as considering its climate mitigation and adaptation options. The
specific objectives are to:
- Support awareness raising on NDC using print and electronic media;
- train national experts about methodological framework for NDC revision;
- support stakeholders technical meeting(s) that will lead to the compilation of a draft NDC
Document;
- host meetings on trans boundary issues to be considered in Liberia #39; s revised NDC;
- Support the alignment of the NDC with national development plan/policy/strategy.
The UN Economic Commission for Africa/ UNDP through the EPA as Implementing Entity (IE)
intends to recruit the service of a Local Consultant, who will engage in public education and
awareness raising on the Updated NDCs through the media (Public and Electronic)
