The workshop aims to enhance the oversight of environmental projects funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF).

On the first day, participants were addressed by representatives from GEF, the Tropical Biology Association, and various environmental experts. Discussions focused on best practices for effective oversight, challenges faced by OFPs, and strategies for enhancing project outcomes.

The second day will feature a tour of Ghana’s e-waste recycling sites under the Africa Environmental Health and Pollution Management Program (AEHPMP), a regional initiative aimed at mitigating health risks associated with hazardous chemicals and e-waste.
